The One With a Tribute to the "Slowhands"

ive been studying and been listening to Eric Clapton aka "Slowhands"..

i think he's a great musician and he's composed some of my fav songs to date.

My Father's Eyes, Knockin on Heaven's Door, and my all time fav Tears in Heaven.

Tears in Heaven was a song for a movie entitled "Rush" but the song was really about his tragic tale of the death of his son Conor. He died after falling from the 53rd floor of his mother's friends house. It was so tragic which lead Eric Clapton to writing the song alongside music friend Will Jennigs.

I appreciate these sort of songs coz u dont hear these sort of songs that often today. These sort of songs have great lyrics and are very poetic. Unlike music today alot i hear someone banging someone..or tap..or i got all that cash and blings and bla bla bla..and things like someone cheating on someone and "oh no u didnt" kind of songs...wateva!

i recall an episode form One Tree Hill where one of the girl (the one married to the brown hair guy) tried being a musican but her songs were like not right or something and i think her "mentor" said like "why do u think Eric Clapton's song Tears of Heaven is so great? He wrote it from his heart about his son"...Oh so so true..Up till now i still get choked up listening to tht song..

His like wat in his 60s and still rockin it with his guitar. Im such a fan of his music. Sort of Blue-sy Rock kind of song. Very soothing..

What can i say..i appreciate the 80s-90s...
some of y fav songs to date and fav shows were from tht time...

i like the whole family and "moral of the story" sort of music and song..very good for the soul...

today is such a hot day i actually feel like im loosing weight with all this sweat!

but my "Mat Kool" aka Barri was nice enough to buy me 2 ice-cream to cool off!



mmmmmmmmmm sedapnyeeee this ice cream! i remember one time where dulu ada ice cream lidah jelly! ah sedapnyeee but apparantly they stopped producing it! drummet tol.. but found this new ice cream which also has jelly inside..mmmmmm yummy!

he's a cross between Elvis and Vanilla Ice i guess hahaha
We love him..he is sooooo full of himself! Every move he makes there's bound to be a "woosh" or a "snap" or watever sound. Konon ALL THAT LA!!!

NEW MOON poster!

what i think about the poster..critic session please..hehe

i absolutely loved loved loved the Twilight Posters especially the right one. The one with Edward not looking into the camera..
he looked soooo vampire-ish it made me wanna swooooooooon..his skin looked sooo silky no wonder he's one of the most dangerous predator in the WORLD nyeh nyeh
and Bella i must say look sooooo serene in the poster..mcm totally hung up on Edward..

about the NEW MOON poster..only true Twilight Saga fans will understand the interpretation of the poster..and why they are positioned like soo
plus the poster and everything is more chocolaty coz new moon is alot about the Quileute tribe and the wolves...so the whole theme looks more red indian type..

unlike the Twilight posters..it looks more blue-ish and cold since its alot about he Cullens..
all in all i give the New Moon poster 9.99/10 juz coz its really tht good except the fact i think Bella looks too short which in real life Jacob (Taylor Lautner) aint tht tall..they're almost the same..

The One With my Younger Obsession

wen i was young (like im not one now hehe) i was "obsessed" with clouds..i just loved how it looked. I use to have a balcony at my room in Ipoh and me and my sis would just lie down on our backs and look at the clouds..

and i was sort of influenced by this movie "Magic In the Water" (1995) starring Joshua Jackson.. well in the movie they were like making shapes with the clouds. i use to do it..not actually make the shape but more like copied their aksi and made out wat the clouds would look like...

i especially loved the bouncing on clouds scene in Peter Pan! ah i wish i could fly! *think happy thoughts* i just love clouds and the sky..i think thats why my fav color is BLUE...isk isk Subahanallah...
